Stat. tit. 10A, § 10A-2-7-606","heading":"Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center - Supervision,","body":"management and control.\n\nA. The Office of Juvenile Affairs shall have the supervision,\n\nmanagement, operation and control of the institution for children\n\nlocated at Tecumseh, formerly known and designated as Girls' Town\n\nand now known as Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center, and all property,\n\nequipment and supplies related thereto.\n\nB. The Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center shall maintain\n\nfacilities and bed-space capacity for programs that are consistent\n\nwith providing statewide juvenile justice and delinquency prevention\n\nservices.\n\nC. It shall be the duty of the State Fire Marshal and the State\n\nCommissioner of Health, to cause regular, periodic, not less than\n\nquarterly, unannounced inspections of said institution, utilizing\n\nadequately trained and qualified inspection personnel, to determine\n\nand evaluate conditions and programs being maintained and carried on\n\nat said institution in their respective areas of agency\n\njurisdiction. Such inspections shall include, but not be limited\n\nto, the following: compliance with minimum fire, life and health\n\nsafety standards; compliance with minimum standards governing\n\ngeneral sanitation of the institution, with particular emphasis upon\n\nfood storage, preparation, serving and transportation, respectively.\n\nReports of such inspections will be made in writing, itemizing and\n\nidentifying any deficiencies and recommending corrective measures,\n\nand shall be filed with the Board of Juvenile Affairs, the Executive\n\nDirector of the Office of Juvenile Affairs, the Attorney General,\n\nthe Speaker of the House of Representatives, the President Pro\n\nTempore of the Senate, the Office of Juvenile System Oversight and\n\nthe Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth. The Office of\n\nJuvenile Affairs shall file copies of the reports of the inspections\n\nand recommendations of the accrediting agencies listed in subsection\n\nD of this section with the Office of Juvenile System Oversight.\n\nD. The Office of Juvenile Affairs is authorized and directed to\n\nestablish, subject to the limits of funds available therefor, a\n\ndiversity of placement alternatives for children committed to the\n\ncustody of the Office including, but not limited to, foster family\n\nhomes, foster family group homes, and group homes. All child care\n\nservices and facilities operated by the Office shall be accredited\n\nby the American Correctional Association, the Joint Commission on\n\nAccreditation of Hospitals or the Child Welfare League of America,\n\nas appropriate for the service or facility.
