Stat. tit. 10A, § 10A-2-7-619","heading":"Public/private partnership - Authority to sell OJA","body":"campus property.\n\nIf the best-value option for the state is to enter into an\n\nagreement with the Commissioners of the Land Office (CLO) and a\n\npublic/private partnership for the development of the designated\n\ncampus then the Office of Juvenile Affairs (OJA) is authorized to\n\nsell a to-be-determined amount of property on the OJA campus of the\n\nCentral Oklahoma Juvenile Center to the CLO. The amount of property\n\nto be transferred will be determined by the footprint of the\n\nproposed construction/refurbishment. In exchange for the property,\n\nOJA will receive from the CLO fair market value for the land. The\n\nCLO, on behalf of OJA, will negotiate a public/private partnership\n\nfor the construction of juvenile justice assets. The CLO will\n\ndevelop a Request For Proposal (RFP) to select a private development\n\ncompany to construct the necessary facilities for the operation of a\n\njuvenile justice secure care facility. OMES will negotiate on\n\nbehalf of OJA the necessary lease and sublease terms for the\n\ncontinued operation of the facility for up to twenty-five (25)\n\nyears.
