Concurrent with the Office of Juvenile Affairs (OJA) campus\n\nconsolidation process as contemplated by Section 2-7-618 et seq. of\n\nthis title, OJA is directed to develop, in collaboration with other\n\nexecutive branch agencies and such other entities as OJA deems\n\nnecessary in furtherance of the requirements of Section 2-7-618 of\n\nthis title, plans for the repurposing of the Southwest Oklahoma\n\nJuvenile Center and the Oklahoma Juvenile Center for Girls campuses.\n\nThe agency shall provide a report to the Governor, the Speaker of\n\nthe House of Representatives and the President Pro Tempore of the\n\nSenate on recommendations for future use of those facilities not\n\nlater than March 31, 2018, or one hundred eighty (180) days from\n\nsuch date if the provisions of Section 2-7-618 et seq. of this title\n\nbecome effective as law later than July 1, 2017.\n\nB. No later than October 1, 2021, the OJA shall provide a\n\nreport to the Governor, the President Pro Tempore of the Senate and\n\nthe Speaker of the House of Representatives on the feasibility of\n\nentering into a contract for or operating group homes of any level\n\nat the Southwest Oklahoma Juvenile Center campus located in Manitou,\n\nOklahoma.","path":["OK Code","Title 10A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os10A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"5687e66bb2fcd591a9530b3c419901de3a3579bee58c190e697026e45f2cca15","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10a-10a-2-7-619","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-10a-10a-2-7-701"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
