Stat. tit. 11, § 11-1-103","heading":"Saving vested rights","body":"The provisions of this act shall not in any manner affect the\n\nrights, liability or right of action, civil or criminal, for or\n\nagainst any municipality in any action commenced before the\n\neffective date of this act. The adoption of this act shall not be\n\nconstrued to repeal or in any way affect or modify:\n\n1. Any substantive or fixed right;\n\n2. Any law authorizing the issuance of any outstanding bonds of\n\nany municipality;\n\n3. Any law pursuant to which special assessments or rates or\n\ncharges of any nature levied by any municipality which have not been\n\npaid in full, principal, interest, and any penalties; or\n\n4. The running of any statute of limitation in force at the\n\ntime this act becomes effective.\n\nAll incomplete proceedings had and taken under any law hereby\n\nrepealed or amended in the acquisition or improvement of any\n\nmunicipal project, the holding of any election, the creation of any\n\nspecial assessment or other district, the levy and collection of any\n\ntaxes, special assessments, rates or charges of any sort, or the\n\nissuance of any bond or other security appertaining to a municipal\n\nproject, any contract for the purchase of any such bonds or\n\nsecurities, which proceedings are in substantial compliance\n\nherewith, may, at the option of the municipal governing body, be\n\ncompleted hereunder the same as if such incomplete proceedings had\n\nbeen had and taken pursuant to the provisions hereof.","path":["OK Code","Title 11"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os11.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"bc3857f573392553d58b5d809d823af8cccbbfb3139ed1de52971bc25871d529","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-1-102","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-1-110"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
