Stat. tit. 11, § 11-12-106","heading":"Powers vested in board of trustees - Designated powers","body":"All powers of a statutory town board of trustees town, including\n\nthe determination of matters of policy, shall be vested in the board\n\nof trustees. Without limitation of the foregoing, the board may:\n\n1. Appoint and remove, and confirm appointments of, designated\n\ntown officers and employees as provided by law or ordinance;\n\n2. Enact municipal legislation subject to limitations as may\n\nnow or hereafter be imposed by the Oklahoma Constitution and law;\n\n3. Raise revenue, establish rates for services and taxes, make\n\nappropriations, regulate salaries and wages and all other fiscal\n\naffairs of the town, subject to limitations as may now or hereafter\n\nbe imposed by the Oklahoma Constitution and law;\n\n4. Inspect the books and accounts maintained by the town\n\ntreasurer;\n\n5. Inquire into the conduct of any office, department or agency\n\nof the town, and investigate municipal affairs, or authorize and\n\nprovide for such inquiries;\n\n6. Create, change and abolish offices, departments or agencies,\n\nother than those established by law; assign additional functions and\n\nduties to offices, departments and agencies established by this\n\narticle; and define the duties, powers and privileges of all\n\nofficers which are not defined by this article; and\n\n7.
