Stat. tit. 11, § 11-14-109","heading":"Mandatory compilation of penal ordinances","body":"The penal ordinances of every municipality shall be compiled and\n\npublished in a permanent form, either printed or typed,\n\nperiodically, but not less than once each ten (10) years. Each\n\nmunicipality shall also publish biennial supplements to the\n\npermanent volume of compiled penal ordinances. No municipal\n\nordinance shall be enforced if it is not reflected in such a\n\npermanent volume or supplement if the ordinance was adopted before\n\nthe latest compilation or supplement. A codification of municipal\n\nordinances which includes all penal ordinances is sufficient for\n\ncomplying with this compilation requirement if the code is issued as\n\na permanent volume with biennial supplements and if the procedures\n\nfor filing and notice, as outlined in Section 14-110 of this title,\n\nhave been complied with.
