Stat. tit. 11, § 11-15-106","heading":"Appeal on question of ballot title - Procedure","body":"A qualified elector who is dissatisfied with the wording of a\n\nballot title may appeal, within ten (10) days after the ballot title\n\nis filed with the clerk, to the district court in the county in\n\nwhich the situs of the municipality is located. The petition for\n\nappeal shall offer a substitute ballot title for the one from which\n\nthe appeal is taken. Written notice of the appeal shall be served\n\nupon the clerk and upon the parties who filed the ballot title at\n\nleast five (5) days before such appeal is heard by the court. The\n\nmunicipal attorney shall, and any interested citizen may, defend the\n\nballot title from which the appeal is taken.
