Stat. tit. 11, § 11-16-304","heading":"Notice - Publication - Posting - Contents","body":"Notice of the biennial town meeting or special town meeting for\n\nthe purposes of electing officers and considering initiative or\n\nreferendum questions shall be given by the governing body of the\n\nmunicipality in accordance with the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act,\n\nSection 301 et seq. of Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes. The\n\nnotice shall be signed by a majority of the members of the governing\n\nbody.\n\nIn addition to the requirements of the Oklahoma Open Meeting\n\nAct, notice of the biennial town meeting and any special town\n\nmeeting shall be given by publishing notice of the meeting stating\n\nthe date, time, place and agenda in a newspaper of general\n\ncirculation in the municipality at least ten (10) days before the\n\ndate of the meeting. If there is no newspaper of general\n\ncirculation in the municipality, the notice shall be given by\n\nposting a copy of the notice and agenda in at least five (5) public\n\nplaces in the municipality.
