Stat. tit. 11, § 11-17-114","heading":"Vendor invoices and contract estimates - Payment","body":"procedures - Uniform jackets.\n\nTo facilitate the payment of vendor invoices and contract\n\nestimates the municipal finance officer may design a uniform jacket\n\nto be used by all departments and divisions of the municipality\n\nwhereon shall be provided summarized information relative to the\n\nenclosed invoices or contract estimates, together with a space for\n\nthe approval of the head of the department or division approving\n\nsaid vendor invoices or contract estimates for payment. Vendor\n\ninvoices and contract estimates may be accepted by the municipality\n\nin lieu of the claim form previously required in the same manner as\n\ncommercial invoices are paid. If utilized, vendor invoices and\n\ncontract estimates shall be filed with the department or division\n\nreceiving the merchandise or services in the same manner as invoices\n\nare filed with commercial firms. Upon receipt of invoices or\n\ncontract estimates the head of the department or division or his\n\nauthorized agent, may approve said documents for payment by\n\nexecuting a certificate of delivery or acceptance of the goods or\n\nservices.
