Stat. tit. 11, § 11-17-208","heading":"Public hearing on proposed budget - Notice - Copies of","body":"proposed budget.\n\nThe municipal governing body shall hold a public hearing on the\n\nproposed budget no later than fifteen (15) days prior to the\n\nbeginning of the budget year. Notice of the date, time and place of\n\nthe hearing, together with the proposed budget summary, shall be\n\npublished on the municipality's website, if available, and in a\n\nnewspaper of general circulation in the municipality not less than\n\nfive (5) days before the date of the hearing. The municipal clerk\n\nshall make available a sufficient number of copies of the proposed\n\nbudget as the governing body shall determine and have them available\n\nfor review or for distribution or sale at the office of the\n\nmunicipal clerk.
