Stat. tit. 11, § 11-18-104","heading":"Effective date of new form - First elections -","body":"Transition of officers.\n\nThe first primary and general elections under the new form shall\n\nbe held at the time that the next municipal primary and general\n\nelections would be held as if there were no change in the form of\n\ngovernment. The form of government which has been adopted shall go\n\ninto full effect when the terms of officers elected under the new\n\nform begin.
