Stat. tit. 11, § 11-21-113","heading":"Annexation of unoccupied property for road and bridge","body":"construction.\n\nUpon proper notification, a municipality may annex any\n\nunoccupied property of an owner who is not a resident of this state\n\nwhich is adjacent or contiguous to property already within the\n\nmunicipal limits for the sole purpose of constructing roads and/or\n\nbridges which are provided for in the comprehensive plan of the\n\nmunicipality, if such owner does not object to the annexation within\n\nthirty (30) days of the publication and mailing of such notice. For\n\npurposes of this subsection, notice shall be given by posting a copy\n\nof the notice on the subject property, by publication in a legally\n\nqualified newspaper of general circulation in the area in which the\n\nproperty to be annexed is located and by certified mail to the owner\n\nof such property as shown by the current year's tax rolls in the\n\ncounty treasurer's office.","path":["OK Code","Title 11"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os11.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"a4cfb437597d88fba71e3f887122e2350cd5cffe27a2d5a05c402c3b06895760","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-21-112","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-21-114"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
