Stat. tit. 11, § 11-22-107","heading":"Licenses and fees regulated by ordinance - Expiration -","body":"Issuance - Seal - Exchange of information for collecting of state\n\nand local taxes.\n\nMunicipal licenses and license fees shall be regulated by\n\nordinance. A municipality may establish such license requirements\n\nas it deems appropriate in the exercise of its police power and may\n\nprovide that each applicant supply his state sales tax\n\nidentification number or proof of exemption pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of Title 68 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Any license issued\n\nby the governing body shall expire no later than one (1) year after\n\nthe date of its issuance or on June 30 of each year. No license may\n\nbe issued until the amount prescribed therefor is paid to the\n\nmunicipal treasurer. No license in any case may be assigned or\n\ntransferred. Licenses shall be signed as provided for by ordinance.\n\nThe clerk shall affix the corporate seal of the municipality to the\n\nlicense. A municipality and the Oklahoma Tax Commission may\n\nexchange information to further the collection or enforcement of\n\nstate and local taxes.
