The municipal governing body may regulate or prohibit riots,\n\nassaults, batteries, petty larceny, disturbances or disorderly\n\nassemblies, and immoral or indecent shows, exhibitions or concerts,\n\nin any street, house or place in the municipality; and may regulate,\n\npunish, and prevent the discharge of firearms, rockets, powder,\n\nfireworks, or other dangerously combustible material in the streets,\n\nlots, grounds, alleys or about, or in the vicinity of any buildings.\n\nThe governing body may also regulate the carrying of firearms or\n\nother deadly weapons, concealed or otherwise, as provided for in\n\nSection 1289.24 of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nB. No municipality shall regulate by order, resolution,\n\nordinance, regulation, or other legislation prohibiting the\n\ntransport of fireworks, in their unopened original packaging in a\n\nmotor vehicle within the municipal limits. No municipality shall\n\nadopt or continue in effect resolutions, ordinances, or regulations\n\nprohibiting the transport of fireworks in their unopened original\n\npackaging by a motor vehicle.
