The head of any municipal department, commission, bureau or\n\nboard may have any or all records kept by the official, department,\n\ncommission, bureau or board photographed, microphotographed,\n\nphotostated, reproduced on film or stored on optical disk. Such\n\nfilm or reproducing material shall be of durable material and the\n\ndevice used to reproduce such records on film or other material\n\nshall be such as to accurately reproduce and perpetuate the original\n\nrecords in all details.\n\nB. The photostatic copy, photograph, microphotograph,\n\nphotographic film or optical disk of the original records shall be\n\ndeemed to be an original record for all purposes, and shall be\n\nadmissible in evidence in all courts or administrative agencies. A\n\nfacsimile, exemplification or certified copy thereof shall, for all\n\npurposes recited herein, be deemed to be a transcript,\n\nexemplification or certified copy of the original.\n\nC. Whenever photostatic copies, photographs, microphotographs,\n\nreproductions on films or optical disks shall be placed in\n\nconveniently accessible files and provisions made for preserving,\n\nexamining and using same, the head of any municipal department,\n\ncommission, bureau or board may certify those facts to the municipal\n\ngoverning body.
