Stat. tit. 11, § 11-26-105","heading":"Rules and ordinances - Penalties and fines","body":"The governing body may pass rules and ordinances to regulate,\n\nprotect, and govern the cemetery, the owners of the lots therein,\n\nvisitors therein, and to punish trespassers therein. The governing\n\nbody may limit the number of lots which may be owned by one person,\n\ncorporation or association at the same time, and may prescribe rules\n\nfor enclosing, adorning and erecting monuments and tombstones on\n\ncemetery lots; but no religious test shall be made as to the\n\nownership of lots, the burial therein, or the ornamentation of\n\ngraves or lots. The governing body may prohibit any division of the\n\nuse of lots and any improper adornment thereof.
