Stat. tit. 11, § 11-27-102","heading":"Resolution of governing body","body":"Before a municipal court not of record may be put into\n\noperation, the municipal governing body shall determine by\n\nresolution that the efficient disposition of cases involving the\n\nviolation of municipal ordinances necessitates putting the court\n\ninto operation. The governing body shall cause a certified copy of\n\nthe resolution to be filed in the office of the county clerk of each\n\ncounty in which the municipality is located.
