Stat. tit. 11, § 11-27-117.1","heading":"Arrest for misdemeanor traffic violation other than","body":"parking or standing - Bail.\n\nIf a resident or nonresident of a municipality having a\n\nmunicipal court is arrested by a law enforcement officer solely for\n\na misdemeanor violation of a traffic ordinance, other than an\n\nordinance pertaining to a parking or standing traffic violation, and\n\nthe arrested person is eligible to sign a written promise to appear\n\nand be released upon personal recognizance as provided for in\n\nSection 1115.1 of Title 22 of the Oklahoma Statutes, then the\n\nprocedures provided for in the State and Municipal Traffic Bail Bond\n\nProcedure Act as applied to municipalities, shall govern. A\n\nmunicipality, by ordinance, may prescribe a bail bond schedule for\n\nthis purpose and may provide for bail to be used as payment of the\n\nfine and costs upon a plea of guilty or nolo contendere, as provided\n\nfor in Section 1115.1 of Title 22 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Absent\n\nsuch ordinance, the municipal court may prescribe a bail bond\n\nschedule for traffic offenses.
