Stat. tit. 11, § 11-28-107","heading":"Marshal of court","body":"The administrative head of the municipality, upon recommendation\n\nof the judge of the municipal court, may designate any appropriate\n\nperson to serve as marshal, and in the absence of such a\n\ndesignation, the chief of police or corresponding officer of the\n\nmunicipality shall be ex officio marshal of the court.
