The office of public defender shall be assumed by an\n\nattorney or attorneys authorized to practice law in Oklahoma. Said\n\nattorneys shall be appointed by the judges of the municipal criminal\n\ncourt of record and serve at the pleasure of the judges or shall be\n\nappointed and removed as provided by the city charter. The salary\n\nof the municipal public defender shall be set by the city governing\n\nbody.\n\nB.
