Stat. tit. 11, § 11-28-113.1","heading":"Prosecutions by verified complaint - Means of","body":"verification - Signature.\n\nA. Notwithstanding other provisions of law, when a law\n\nenforcement officer issues a citation or ticket as the basis for a\n\ncomplaint or information, for an offense against a municipal\n\nordinance which is declared to be a misdemeanor, the citation or\n\nticket shall be properly verified if:\n\n1. The issuing officer subscribes the officer's signature on\n\nthe citation, ticket or complaint to the following statement:\n\n\"I, the undersigned issuing officer, hereby certify and swear\n\nthat I have read the foregoing information and know the facts and\n\ncontents thereof and that the facts supporting the criminal charge\n\nstated therein are true.\" Such a subscription by an issuing\n\nofficer, in all respects, shall constitute a sworn statement, as if\n\nsworn to upon an oath administered by an official authorized by law\n\nto administer oaths; and\n\n2. The citation or ticket states the specific facts supporting\n\nthe criminal charge and the ordinance or statute alleged to be\n\nviolated; or\n\n3. A complainant verifies by oath, subscribed on the citation,\n\nticket or complaint, that he has read the information, knows the\n\nfacts and contents thereof and that the facts supporting the\n\ncriminal charge stated therein are true. For purposes of such an\n\noath and subscription, any law enforcement officer of the state,\n\ncounty or municipality of the State of Oklahoma issuing the\n\ncitation, ticket or complaint shall be authorized to administer the\n\noath to the complainant.\n\nB.
