Stat. tit. 11, § 11-29-110","heading":"Election on question of contracting for fire protection","body":"services.\n\nThe question of contracting for fire protection services with a\n\nprivate entity, organization, corporation or company and, if\n\nrequired, the transfer of capital assets used in fire protection\n\nservices to a public trust, shall be submitted to the registered\n\nvoters of the city or town at the next general election, or a\n\nspecial election to be held in the city or town not less than thirty\n\n(30) days nor more than sixty (60) days after the date of the order\n\ncalling for the election.
