Stat. tit. 11, § 11-29-152","heading":"Creation of district – Municipal resolution","body":"The governing body of a municipality may initiate the creation\n\nof a public safety protection district by the adoption of a\n\nresolution calling for the question to be placed before the\n\nregistered voters of the municipality of whether to organize a\n\npublic safety protection district. The resolution shall be\n\nsubmitted to the registered voters of the municipality at the next\n\ngeneral election.
