The costs of an election to establish a public safety\n\nprotection district shall be paid by the municipality in the\n\nproportions determined by the county election board conducting the\n\nspecial election.\n\nB. The election to determine whether a district shall be\n\nestablished, and the notice thereof, shall be conducted in the same\n\nmanner as other municipal questions which are submitted to the\n\nelectorate of the municipality. The notice shall require the\n\nregistered voters of the municipality to cast ballots which contain\n\nthe words: \"Public Safety Protection District – Yes\" and \"Public\n\nSafety Protection District – No\" or words equivalent thereto. All\n\nresidents of the municipality who are qualified electors shall be\n\nqualified to vote on the proposition.
