Stat. tit. 11, § 11-29-202","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in Sections 29-201 through 29-205 of this title:\n\n1. “Volunteer firefighter” means a person who is enrolled as a\n\nmember of a fire department and who serves in such capacity without\n\nreceiving a regular salary. A person who is a salaried public\n\nsafety employee of a municipality shall not serve as a volunteer\n\nfirefighter of a volunteer fire department unless the person is off\n\nduty and such service is not a condition of employment.
