Stat. tit. 11, § 11-29-303","heading":"Duties of volunteer firefighters of combination fire","body":"department.\n\nVolunteer firefighters of a combination fire department shall:\n\n1. Be required, when notified, to respond to alarms of fire and\n\nother emergencies;\n\n2. Be required to be present at all regular meetings, call\n\nmeetings and schools presented for the benefit of the firefighters;\n\n3. Be dropped from a fire department’s rolls if such volunteer\n\nfirefighter has two unexcused absences in succession or three\n\nunexcused absences in a period of three (3) months;\n\n4. Notify the chief if such volunteer firefighter is leaving\n\nthe municipality for an extended period of time;\n\n5. Be expelled from the rolls if such volunteer firefighter\n\nrefuses to attend training classes provided for him or her;\n\n6. Be expelled from the rolls for the following offenses:\n\na. conduct unbecoming of a firefighter,\n\nb. any act of insubordination,\n\nc. neglect of duty,\n\nd. any violation of rules and regulations governing the\n\nfire department, or\n\ne. conviction of a felony; and\n\n7.
