Stat. tit. 11, § 11-3-102","heading":"Hearing on petition - Order of commissioners calling for","body":"election on question.\n\nWithin thirty (30) days after the petition for incorporation has\n\nbeen presented, the board of county commissioners shall determine,\n\neither by affidavit or by oral testimony in a hearing on the\n\npetition, whether the requirements for incorporation have been fully\n\ncomplied with. If the board is satisfied with the petitioners'\n\ncompliance, it shall call for an election for the purpose of\n\nsubmitting to the registered voters of the proposed town the\n\nquestion of whether or not such territory shall become an\n\nincorporated town.
