Stat. tit. 11, § 11-3-106","heading":"Notice of election of town officers - Fees and expenses","body":"The order of the board of county commissioners shall be\n\nsubmitted to the secretary of the county election board for the\n\npurpose of conducting the election of town officers. If the town is\n\neligible to come within the provisions of the Oklahoma Town Meeting\n\nAct and a majority of the petitioners desire to comply with the\n\nprovisions of the Oklahoma Town Meeting Act, the petitioners shall\n\ncall the election in accordance with the provisions of the Oklahoma\n\nTown Meeting Act. Notice of any election of town officers shall be\n\nin the manner provided by law for municipal elections.
