Stat. tit. 11, § 11-30-101","heading":"Establishment of municipal hospitals - Financial","body":"statement and estimate\n\nA municipal governing body may establish and maintain a\n\nmunicipal hospital and do all things necessary and proper in its\n\ndiscretion pursuant to the authority granted to it by the\n\nConstitution and laws of this state to further the ability of the\n\nmunicipality to provide hospital service. After the establishment\n\nof a municipal hospital, the governing body shall include an item in\n\nits municipal financial statement and estimate of needs for the\n\nfollowing fiscal year to maintain the hospital.
