Stat. tit. 11, § 11-30-104","heading":"Rules and regulations - Expenditures and receipts -","body":"Hospital fund - Personnel.\n\nThe board of control shall adopt rules and regulations for its\n\nown guidance and for the governance and operation of the municipal\n\nhospital, not inconsistent with this article, which shall be subject\n\nto the approval of the municipal governing body. It shall have\n\nexclusive control of expenditures of all moneys collected and\n\ndeposited to the credit of the municipal hospital fund, of the\n\nhospital building or buildings, and of the care and custody of the\n\ngrounds, rooms, or buildings purchased, leased or set apart for the\n\nhospital. All money received by the board on account of the\n\noperation of the hospital, or otherwise, shall be paid by the board\n\nto the municipal treasurer, who shall deposit the same in a special\n\naccount in the municipal treasury to be designated the \"hospital\n\nfund.\" Such moneys shall be paid out only upon warrants authorized\n\nby the board, drawn and signed by its secretary, and countersigned\n\nby its president. The board shall have authority to establish a\n\npetty cash fund, not to exceed the sum of Five Hundred Dollars\n\n($500.00) at any one time, for use in maintaining the hospital,\n\nwhich money shall be expended by the superintendent of the hosptial\n\non forms prescribed and authorized by the board of control.
