Stat. tit. 11, § 11-32-105","heading":"Establishing parking station improvement district -","body":"Restrictions on cost.\n\nA municipal governing body may make or cause to be made\n\nmunicipal parking facilities or improvements thereon which confer a\n\nspecial benefit upon property within a definable area of the\n\nmunicipality and may levy and collect special assessments upon\n\nproperty in the area deemed by the governing body to be benefited by\n\nthe improvement. The improvement district shall be established by\n\nthe adoption of a resolution of the governing body. In the\n\nresolution, the governing body shall:\n\n1. Fix the percentage of cost of acquiring and improving lands\n\nfor parking stations which is to be assessed against the improvement\n\ndistrict; and\n\n2. Direct and order a public hearing on the advisability of the\n\nimprovement, as provided in Section 32-107 of this title.\n\nThe municipality may pay such portion of the cost of the improvement\n\nas the governing body may determine, but not more than fifty percent\n\n(50%) of the total cost thereof.","path":["OK Code","Title 11"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os11.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"2a50eb9de89cf0bc3a9e43363af8879b966b3dc074e80c73ffc77ff50b5efa3a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-32-104","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-32-106"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
