Stat. tit. 11, § 11-32-113","heading":"Apportionment of costs - Assessing ordinance -","body":"Limitation on suits.\n\nThe portion of the cost of any improvement to be assessed\n\nagainst the property in the improvement district shall be\n\napportioned against the property in accordance with the special\n\nbenefits accruing thereto by reason of the improvement. The cost\n\nmay be assessed equally per front foot or per square foot against\n\nall lots and pieces of land within the improvement district or the\n\ncost may be determined and fixed on the basis of any other\n\nreasonable assessment plan which will result in imposing\n\nsubstantially equal burdens or shares of the cost upon property\n\nsimilary benefited. The governing body shall determine the final\n\napportionment of costs of the improvement and shall levy, by\n\nordinance, assessments in accordance with the apportionment against\n\nthe property liable therefor.
