Stat. tit. 11, § 11-33-109","heading":"Grants and devises of real property - Gifts and","body":"bequests.\n\nAny governmental unit which may provide for or establish any\n\nrecreation center or facilities as provided herein may accept any\n\ngrant or devise of real estate, or any gift or bequest of money or\n\nother personal property or any donation to be applied (either\n\nprincipal or income) for either temporary or permanent use for\n\nplayground or recreational centers or recreational purposes; but if\n\nthe acceptance thereof for such purpose will subject such\n\ngovernmental unit to additional expense for improvement, maintenance\n\nor otherwise, the acceptance of any grant, devise or gift shall be\n\nsubject to the approval of the governing body of such governmental\n\nunit.
