A municipal governing body, by and with the written approval\n\nof the State Highway Commission insofar as state and federal\n\nhighways may be affected, may grant to the United States of America,\n\nor any irrigation district, conservancy district, or water users'\n\nassociation, organized under the laws of Oklahoma, the right to\n\nclose, inundate, destroy, alter, or appropriate any municipal roads\n\nor streets in the municipality in connection with the construction,\n\ndevelopment, operation, or maintenance of any irrigation,\n\nreclamation, water conservation and utilization, flood control,\n\nmilitary, or national defense project, for needful public buildings,\n\nor other public projects being constructed, operated, developed, or\n\nmaintained by the United States of America, or any such district or\n\nassociation, upon such terms and conditions and for such\n\nconsideration as the governing body may determine to be just and\n\nproper.\n\nB.
