Stat. tit. 11, § 11-36-107","heading":"Encroachments and obstructions in streets","body":"The governing body may prohibit and prevent all encroachments\n\ninto and upon the sidewalks, streets, avenues, alleys and other\n\nproperty of the municipality, and may provide for the removal of all\n\nobstructions from the sidewalks, curbstones, gutters and crosswalks,\n\nat the expense of the owner or occupier of the grounds fronting\n\nthereon, or at the expense of the person placing the encroachment\n\nthere.
