The municipal governing body, in its discretion, may provide\n\nfor the payment of the cost for improving street intersections and\n\nalley crossings out of the general revenues.\n\nB. The State Highway Commission is authorized in its sole\n\ndiscretion to enter into agreements with the governing body of any\n\nmunicipality for participation with State Highway Construction and\n\nMaintenance Funds in the cost of any improvements on streets which\n\nare a part of the State Highway System. Such agreements may provide\n\nfor the award and supervision of the contract by the municipality.\n\nThe state's share of the cost is to be due and payable upon\n\ncompletion of the project.\n\nC. Any board of county commissioners, in its discretion, may\n\nenter into agreements with the governing body of any municipality\n\nfor participation with County Highway Funds in the cost of any\n\nimprovements on streets which are in the limits of the municipality\n\nand are part of the County Highway System. Such agreements may\n\nprovide for the award and supervision of the contract by the\n\nmunicipality.
