Stat. tit. 11, § 11-36-225","heading":"Replacement bonds - Repairs","body":"Upon acceptance of the improvements and before the final payment\n\nof the contract price, the governing body shall require the\n\ncontractor performing the work to make and execute a good and\n\nsufficient surety bond, or deposit sufficient securities or\n\nobligations of the United State of America or of the State of\n\nOklahoma or some municipal subdivision thereof, to be approved by\n\nthe governing body in the sum as determined by the governing body,\n\nbut in no case to be less than ten percent (10%) of the contract\n\nprice. The bond shall be conditioned for the immediate\n\nreimbursement to the municipality by the contractor for the\n\nmaintenance of the improvements against any failure due to defective\n\nworkmanship or materials for a period of three (3) years from the\n\ntime of its completion and acceptance. Whenever any repairs of the\n\nimprovements due to defective workmanship or materials are deemed\n\nnecessary by the governing body, they shall order the same to be\n\nmade under the supervision of the municipal engineer and the costs\n\nthereof certified to by the engineer.
