Stat. tit. 11, § 11-36-302","heading":"Registration of bonds","body":"The bonds shall be registered by the clerk of the municipality\n\nin a book to be provided for that purpose. The book shall show a\n\ndescription of the bond, the name and address of the owner or\n\nholder, and the date of registration. Upon the books of the\n\ntreasurer shall be noted the name of the holder of the bond and his\n\naddress. The bond shall be endorsed by the clerk over his\n\nsignature, or a facsimile of his signature, the legend \"registered\n\nin my office\". Each bond shall bear a certificate of registration.\n\nAny subsequent holder may cause the same to be registered in the\n\nname of the holder upon submission of proper proof of ownership.\n\nAfter registration of any bond, no transfer or assignment thereof\n\nshall be valid until such transfer or assignment has been registered\n\nwith the municipal clerk.
