Stat. tit. 11, § 11-36-306","heading":"Payment of delinquent assessments by endorsement on","body":"bonds.\n\nIf an assessment or installment thereof which is paid by\n\nendorsement upon a bond is delinquent and in the hands of the county\n\ntreasurer for collection, then the receipt issued by the clerk may\n\nbe presented by the registered holder of the bond to the county\n\ntreasurer. The county treasurer shall thereupon endorse upon his\n\nrecords the satisfaction and discharge of the delinquent\n\ninstallments upon the property described in the receipt.
