Stat. tit. 11, § 11-36-311","heading":"Notice to bondholders - Holder may accept street","body":"improvement refunding bonds.\n\nAt least sixty (60) days prior to the expiration of the three-\n\nyear limitation on actions by bondholders, the municipal clerk shall\n\nnotify the holders of all outstanding street improvement bonds that\n\nthe same are about to be barred by the statute of limitations by:\n\n1. Mailing a notice to the holder of each bond at his last\n\nknown address, as shown by the records of the clerk; and\n\n2. Publishing the notice in some newspaper of general\n\ncirculation in the municipality in which the street improvement\n\ndistrict is located. If there is no newspaper published in the\n\nmunicipality, then the publication shall be made in some newspaper\n\npublished in the county, and by publication of the notice in at\n\nleast one nationally recognized financial journal.\n\nThe notice to bondholders shall be substantially in the following\n\nform:\n\nNOTICE TO ALL HOLDERS OF STREET IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF\n\nDISTRICT NO.______ (or, if appropriate, insert the\n\nordinance or serial no.) OF THE _____ (City or Town) OF _________,\n\nOKLAHOMA:\n\nYou are hereby notified that on the _____ day of _____,\n\n19__, the above bonds and rights thereunder will be barred by the\n\nStatute of Limitation, as provided in Section 36-310 of Title 11 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes.
