Stat. tit. 11, § 11-37-110","heading":"Establishing water districts - Regulations to protect","body":"water supply.\n\nThe governing body of any municipality securing its water supply\n\nfrom a stream or reservoir located outside of its corporate limits\n\nmay designate by ordinance a district to be known as a water\n\ndistrict. The water district shall be designated by metes and\n\nbounds and may embrace any lands, directly or indirectly flowing or\n\nshedding water into any such stream or reservoir as the governing\n\nbody ordains.
