Stat. tit. 11, § 11-37-115","heading":"Pollution of municipal water supply unlawful","body":"No person, firm, partnership, or corporation, or any of the\n\npartners, officers, managers, or employees thereof, shall pollute or\n\npermit the pollution of the water supply of a municipality, or any\n\nstream, pond, spring, lake, or other water reservoir or groundwater\n\naquifer, which is used or which is being held for use as a water\n\nsupply by a municipality. A municipality may bring an action in the\n\ndistrict court to enjoin any activity that will cause pollution of\n\nthe water supply of a municipality whether or not such activity is\n\nregulated, licensed, or inspected. For the purposes of this\n\nsection, the term pollution means contamination or other alteration\n\nof the physical, chemical, or biological properties of any natural\n\nwaters of the state, or such discharge of any liquid, gaseous, or\n\nsolid substance into any waters of the state as will or is likely to\n\ncreate a nuisance or render such waters harmful or detrimental or\n\ninjurious to the health, safety, or welfare of the general public,\n\nor to domestic, commercial, industrial, agricultural, recreational,\n\nor other legitimate beneficial uses, or to livestock, wild animals,\n\nbirds, or fish or other aquatic life.","path":["OK Code","Title 11"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os11.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"914c4adf146dd7add10ad40b9c2a3b50ecbbc4ca26f4bd1fc652f15bebbe5e26","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-37-114","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-37-116"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
