Stat. tit. 11, § 11-37-118","heading":"Acquisition of title or interest of land or water in","body":"adjoining states.\n\nFor use in connection with the acquisition, establishment,\n\nbetterment or expansion, and the maintenance or operation of its\n\nmunicipal waterworks system, any municipality may acquire title to,\n\nor any lesser interest in, any lands or water rights, or both, in\n\nany state adjoining the State of Oklahoma, which lie within any\n\nwatershed from which the municipality obtains, or desires to obtain,\n\nits municipal water supply.
