Stat. tit. 11, § 11-37-202","heading":"Public and district sewers - Public and district water","body":"distribution lines.\n\nIn all municipalities where a system of public waterworks is\n\nmaintained and operated, or created, the municipal governing body\n\nshall have power to cause a general sanitary, storm or combination\n\nsewer system to be established, which shall be composed of two\n\nclasses of sewers: public and district sewers. The governing body\n\nmay also cause a water distribution system and water supply\n\nfacilities to be established composed of public and district water\n\ndistribution lines.
