Stat. tit. 11, § 11-38-103","heading":"Workable program for utilization of private and public","body":"resources.\n\nA municipality for the purpose of this article shall formulate\n\nfor its area of operation a workable program for utilizing\n\nappropriate private and public resources to eliminate and prevent\n\nthe development or spread of blight, to encourage needed\n\nrehabilitation, to provide for the redevelopment of blighted areas,\n\nor to undertake any of these activities or other feasible public\n\nactivities as may be suitably employed to achieve the objectives of\n\nthe workable program. The workable program may include, without\n\nlimitation, provision for: the prevention of the spread of blight\n\ninto areas of the municipality which are free from blight through\n\ndiligent enforcement of housing, zoning and occupancy controls and\n\nstandards; the rehabilitation or conservation of blighted areas or\n\nportions thereof by replanning, removing congestion, providing\n\nparks, playgrounds and other public improvements, by encouraging\n\nvoluntary rehabilitation and by compelling the repair and\n\nrehabilitation of deteriorated or deteriorating structures; and the\n\nclearance and redevelopment of blighted areas or portions thereof.","path":["OK Code","Title 11"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os11.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f3c2c787fe3ded5a8b97e973177bfbb7934aa58eaf1c6eacf69cdd4c830267e9","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-38-102","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-38-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
