Stat. tit. 11, § 11-4-102","heading":"Order calling for election on question - Notice","body":"Within thirty (30) days after filing the petition for\n\nincorporation of a city, the board of county commissioners shall\n\ncall for an election for the purpose of submitting to the registered\n\nvoters of the proposed city the question of whether or not such town\n\nor community of people shall become an incorporated city. The order\n\ncalling for the election shall name the date for the election and\n\nshall be submitted to the secretary of the county election board for\n\nthe purpose of conducting the election.
