Stat. tit. 11, § 11-40-109","heading":"Relocation assistance plan","body":"Before any redevelopment project shall be initiated under this\n\nact, a relocation assistance plan shall be approved by the\n\nredevelopment trust proposing to undertake the project. Such\n\nrelocation assistance plan shall:\n\n1. Provide for relocation payments to be made to persons,\n\nfamilies and businesses who move from real property or who move\n\npersonal property from real property as a result of the acquisition\n\nof the real property by the city in carrying out the provisions of\n\nthis act, the plan to specify the time and manner of any such\n\npayments agreed to;\n\n2. Provide that no persons or families residing in the project\n\narea shall be displaced unless and until there is a suitable housing\n\nunit available and ready for occupancy by such displaced person or\n\nfamily at rents within their ability to pay. Such housing units\n\nshall be suitable to the needs of such displaced persons or families\n\nand must be a decent, safe, sanitary and otherwise standard\n\ndwelling;\n\n3. Provide for the payment of any damages sustained by a\n\nretailer by reason of the liquidation of inventories necessitated by\n\nrelocation; and\n\n4.
