Stat. tit. 11, § 11-42-111","heading":"Court action by owners to foreclose or reopen public","body":"way - Petition.\n\nAny owner of any real estate to which any public way or\n\neasement, or any part thereof, has heretofore reverted or may\n\nhereafter revert by closing, within the corporate limits of any\n\nmunicipality, may commence an action in the district court in the\n\ncounty in which the real estate is situated, upon filing a verified\n\npetition. The petition shall show the passage of an ordinance\n\nclosing the public way or easement and ask for the foreclosure of\n\nthe absolute right to reopen the public way or easement or ask for\n\nthe reopening of the public way or easement.
