Stat. tit. 11, § 11-43-105","heading":"Amendments or changes of regulations, restrictions and","body":"boundaries - Protests.\n\nA. Regulations, restrictions and district boundaries of\n\nmunicipalities may be amended, supplemented, changed, modified or\n\nrepealed. The requirements of Section 43-104 of this title on\n\npublic hearings and notice shall apply to all proposed amendments or\n\nchanges to regulations, restrictions or district boundaries.\n\nB. Protests against proposed changes shall be filed at least\n\nthree (3) days before the date of the public hearings. If protests\n\nare filed by:\n\n1. the owners of twenty percent (20%) or more of the area of\n\nthe lots included in a proposed change, or\n\n2. the owners of fifty percent (50%) or more of the area of the\n\nlots within a three hundred (300) foot radius of the exterior\n\nboundary of the territory included in a proposed change;\n\nthen the proposed change or amendment shall not become effective\n\nexcept by the favorable vote of three-fourths of all the members of\n\nthe municipal governing body where there are more than seven members\n\nin the governing body, and by three-fifths favorable vote where\n\nthere are seven or less members in the governing body.","path":["OK Code","Title 11"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os11.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"50314eb94c2c783846b6f402c528dd5f2750dfc1d51444c93aa677d6d0720182","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-43-104","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-43-106"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
