Stat. tit. 11, § 11-44-107","heading":"Variances","body":"A variance from the terms, standards and criteria that pertain\n\nto an allowed use category within a zoning district as authorized by\n\nthe zoning ordinance may be granted, in whole, in part, or upon\n\nreasonable conditions as provided in this article, only upon a\n\nfinding by the board of adjustment that:\n\n1. The application of the ordinance to the particular piece of\n\nproperty would create an unnecessary hardship;\n\n2. Such conditions are peculiar to the particular piece of\n\nproperty involved;\n\n3. Relief, if granted, would not cause substantial detriment to\n\nthe public good, or impair the purposes and intent of the ordinance\n\nor the comprehensive plan; and\n\n4.
